BroadConnect Hosted Skype Infrastructure has High Availability, Security, and it’s fully integrated with MS Office 365 services.

Multi-Platform

Skype for Business gives employees a reliable, consistent, and integrated unified communications service across multiple platforms. Skype For Business allows staff to make calls, use instant messaging, or join a Skype for Business meeting from almost anywhere using their phones, tablets, laptops, or on their desktops.

Enhanced Presence

Staff can see the availability of others, clients or even customers who are on the Skype for Business system in real time. Decide on the most appropriate method of reply based on your contact’s availability. Conversations can be internal or external instant messages, phone calls, HD meetings or conferences.

HD Video Calling

Skype for Business video conferencing features support 1080p HD allowing participants to see a crisp and clear screen. Employees can start a one-to-one video call from within an email, with a meeting request, with a Skype for Business client, or from supported devices. This is a great addition to virtual business phone systems.

Encryption

Skype for Business uses two protocols, TLS and MTLS, to provide encrypted communications and endpoint authentication. Both TLS and MTLS prevent eavesdropping or man-in-the-middle attacks. In addition, all media traffic is encrypted using Secure RTP (SRTP).
